Communities That Work PartnershipFutureWorks, together with the Aspen Institute, recently completed a U.S. Department of Commerce -funded program that brought together seven regional teams to accelerate the connections between economic development and workforce development. The 18-month initiative included two national learning exchanges, technical assistance, and strategy development with seven regions. The project released seven Partnership Briefs outlining key lessons from the regional partnerships and a Playbook.

Purpose FirstFutureWorks helped Complete College America to launch a new initiative that combines workforce connections, predictive analytics and career advising to help students better connect their education to career objectives. The project included research with national experts and several two-year and four-year colleges.

Central Indiana Technology Workforce StudyAn Indianapolis-based technology industry association and its workforce board hired FutureWorks to take a deeper look at demand for and supply of technical talent in the region. Leaders used FutureWork’s project results to bring industry and education together to identify opportunities to build new talent to support the growth of the industry.

Hampshire Agenda for Growth and OpportunityFutureWorks led a team from three chambers of commerce and a business-led council in Massachusetts to build a shared strategy to stimulate business growth and extend economic opportunity to the area's residents.
